For a few friends and family (including myself), I made Wish and Gratitude Jars for Christmas. This is not a new idea, but I LOVE the concept! To be ready to write at all times, I also included a notepad in the gift package.
1) Write down your thoughts on note paper for either jar purpose.
GRATITUDE JARS: Write down all the "good stuff" that happens in 2013, put it in the jar and then open it on New Years Eve. We tend to journal about our struggles, but rarely do we write when something wonderful happens. I'd love at the end the year to read about all the good things that happened in my life instead of the bad stuff -- wouldn't you? :)
WISH JARS: For manifesting your wishes or dreams. If you write down your wishes (be specific), chances are they are more likely to come true! Use words like "I will or I can" as they have a better chance of manifesting than using words like "I hope". For example, "I will weigh 120 pounds in December 2013" or "I weigh 120 pounds" as if it has already happened. Note: Any wish that requires reaching a goal, you will need to work towards that particular goal to make it happen, such as losing weight.
2) Roll up the note paper. Tie a red manifestation cord around your wish or "good feeling memory".
3) Drop scroll into the jar. Put lid back on and let go!
4) GRATITUDE JARS: Open on New Years Eve and relive the gratitude and love!
WISH JARS: Let go and allow the universe to help you manifest your wish. There is nothing more you need to do.
