Kick-off
the holiday season with one-stop shopping for unique art, cards,
ornaments, housewares, bags, and more, all made by local artists.
Three Featured Artists:
Boglarka Pataki-Barothi of Bogi Studio
The artists’ styles and mediums vary widely, from acrylic paint on canvas, recycled bamboo, and antique wooden shoe forms to felted holiday ornaments and decorative textiles, custom-made assemblages and shadow boxes, and multi-media collages.
Bogi, Jenny, and Willow come from distinct cultural backgrounds: Bogi is a Hungarian raised in Transylvania; Jenny is a Northern California native who has traveled extensively throughout Asia and beyond; and Willow grew up in the South Island of New Zealand. However, their artistic and cultural differences have been bridged by their deep love of Marin County. Indeed, Marin – under the steady gaze of Mt. Tam – has been an important source of creative inspiration and artistic meditation for each of these emerging artists.
A percentage of the December 2nd event will be donated to a local Marin charity.
