I always wanted to see the South West in the Spring! My boyfriend convinced me to drive instead of flying to Tucson for his son's wedding. I thought "It's going to take forever". But, luckily with books on CD "The Alchemist and Blink" the miles and time flew by quickly. I had never been to Palm Springs before. We arrived just in time for cocktail hour. The warm weather was a welcoming escape from the stormy and wet San Francisco. We stayed with our lovely friends and hosts: Vince & Amber (Scottsdale), Carolyn & John (Tucson) and Maureen & Greg (Laguna Niguel). A week together in a vacation-like climate with friends and family was joyfully pleasant.
